Hey, howdy, hi ya’ll!! If you follow my Facebook posts at all, you may remember some of my panicky posts about flying (im a BIT of a nervous flyer) to DC a couple of weeks ago, well here is why, folks! I was shooting the wedding of an amazing couple, Rich and Sara Leung. A friend of mine here in Arkansas referred me to them since she was about to have an adorable baby girl and would be unable to attend. Am I ever so happy that she did!! From the moment I started working with them, I knew things would go off without a hitch. She is THE dream bride. Had all her ducks in a row and then some. I arrived to DC where she met me with a Mellow Yellow Photography sign in bright yellow and a bubbly personality to match. I get in the car and there is Rich, rockin’ out to some wonderful music and my weekend is off to a great start!! The day went perfectly as planned because Sara and Rich and their families were so organized, but also very relaxed and so very welcoming. Thank you again for that. I honestly enjoyed every moment of this adventure (with the excepting of maybe a few hours in the air
) and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I hope you all enjoy these photos and really feel the love that was just everywhere that day. Here we go.

Sara, I hope you don’t hate me for this, but I think you look adorable and your eyes are shining like the diamond on your finger.

This ring box was the one her mothers ring came in! I love that.

I would like you to take notice of the smile right there on her mothers face. It is ALWAYS there. Nancy, you are one of the nicest, warm welcoming ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Sara loved the folds in her dress and I loved the va va voom curves they gave her!!

a vision.

A beautiful gift from Richards grandmother.

Patiently waiting to see his lady for the first time. He’s adorable.

They’re perfect together. Just perfect.

Admiring those new rings while waiting to head to the reception.

Sara’s dad gave THE FUNNIEST speech I have heard yet!!

oh. my. holy lots of love.

Thank you, Anna. You made me cry

Cuttin’ a rug in some fabulous silver shoes!

Marc was not only great at the robot, he was also a splendid driver getting me to the reception. Thanks again for proving your family wrong and not killing me along the way

The family ties and friendships were so strong at this wedding. I wish you all the very best in your life, thank you for letting me take part in this huge piece of it. It was truly a pleasure and a joy to capture. Cheers!
